You might see some problems from the clorine. Also possible algae problems if you have silicates in the water. If you happen to have copper in the tap water that could be real bad. Nothing horrible is gonna probably happen though.

Depending on how much PC lighting you have you may be able to keep a cup coral, I have a yellow cup coral that is one of my favorites. Some colorful zoos would be nice also.

IMO silica sand is a bad idea. It has sharp edges and if I remember right it promotes algae growth. Aragonite also helps buffer your PH also. You don't have to get LS to get a good aragonite sand, dry will do.
