Air pumps are not good for Saltwater, but circulation is vital. As posted previously powerheads can be a good option to help circulate the water.

Another option you might want to try is Cutting board. It is pretty much the same as a bare bottom tank but isn't as ugly IMO.

These fish are known as reef safe with caution as they may or may not pick on corals. It really depends on the individual fish. My Coral Beauty doesn't mess with any of my corals.

Be careful with them like other dragonets they can be hard to get to eat. Most of them starve to death in home aquariums.
