im sorry i retested correctly and my alkalinity is 4meq/L not 5.5meq/L .. BUMP BUMP!!!!

i got this seachem test kit liquid and i got a total of 11 drops until the water turned yellow, it said count the drops until the blue water turns yellow. then it said devide that by 2 so that would be 5.5meq/L and it states aquarium water should be at or around 4-6meq/L total alkalinity. so am...

no telling with flatworms, they just multiply and start showing up all over your tank. they be all over your coral, rock work, glass if theres enough on the coral they start to bother the coral and it wont open as much. you can get flatworm exit i used it a couple of times, when u dose flatworm...

alot of people get this my LFS guy has his fingers cut up and messed up from touching liverock and coral he wears gloves now, the other guys dont wear them.. just your fingers r sensitive to that stuff i would guess.

hmm do this take some water to your LFS dont use your "old" test kit might be outdated unless it shows its not... get it tested at your LFS. do that and tell us what they say or show. i feed 1 cube everyother day if your feeding 1 cube every day might be toomuch. just cut down on feeding alittle...

nitrates r a bit high, have u tested for phosphates? your lights will get weak over a long period of time, algae love strong lighting.

the skimmer removes ammonia? i thought they only removed nitrates

you might have an unwanted visitor amongst ur rock work hiding an hunts at night

they arent reef safe meaning they will pick at your coral to find a nice suit lol

im going to float a bag of r/o in my tank for it can be the same temp of about 79 with the tank water then i will measure both. will that b accurate enough??

my hydrometer says 1.024 my refractometer says 1.028 i compared my hydrometer with the LFS about a year ago and it was off by 2.. my hydrometer would read 1.025 but the LFS read 1.027 so is the hydrometer losing even more accuracy???which1 should i believe i calibrated my refrac. with r/o water...
