I just bought a reef kit from this website and it included both brittle stars and CBS. I haven't gotten it yet, but i am pretty sure that they are reef safe.:D

I am thinking about buying a reef package from swf.com. The package I am going to buy includes two brittle stars. I was under the impression that star fish were not reef compatible. Is this kind of star fish an exception?:notsure:

No thanks, ones enough. I am trying to get some coraline alge to grow on my LR and i am afraid this guy isn't helping any. He came attatched to a piece of LR I bought. I don't have any coral yet but will this guy hurt the coral when i get some?

I have a Sea Urchin like the one below. I heard that they can eat the coraline alge in the tank. Does anyone know if this is true. Is it safe to leave him in a reef tank?

Thanks for the info. I just have a question. When you say to "age" the water, do I just mix it and let it sit in a bucket for a couple days, what about the water temp or circulation. Can I just Mix in a bucket and let it sit? Sorry seems like a dumb question, but i have never aged my water...

Can anyone tell me if it is normal for an atlantic anenome to deflate and pull back its tenticals back into its body. Mine has been doing fine since i got new 130w pc's on my 30 gal tank. Then i did a water change and the next day he looks like he is deflated.
