I did somthing stupid. PLEASE HELP

Well Blennies don't usually breathe really hard, so I'd watch that really closely and as far as feeding don't feed too much, cuz all you need is a nitrate spike as well. Just go to your lfs and find some type of carbon that is already in a little bag and put it in your filter. By the way what...

I am planning on getting a bigger tank for my Powder Blue Tang once me and my fiancee get a bigger apartment. My question is: How long does it take for a Powder Blue or any Tang to get really big.....to full size if you will......if I am fairly modest with my feeding and light time......I'm...

I agree that live rock isn't neccessary, however, it can't hurt and I think that it makes your tank look more complete and gives the fish the adequate shelter that they need to survive. Also when you have the coraline (spelling) algae on the rock it makes your aquarium have a really nice color...

I did somthing stupid. PLEASE HELP

Well.....I can tell you why that happened....basically when you put stuff in your tank from the ocean, there is a "die off" period in it that will make you amonia REALLY high......that happens to un-cured live rock as well. Do you have a really bad smell coming out of the tank as well? Do your...

    Hey Terry B!!!

Yeah I've heard about the Zebra Mussel problems you guys are having. I'm in Cincinnati and visit the Great Lakes fairly regularly. I haven't heard anything about the introduction of any type of predators that would eat the mussels, nor do I think it would be a good idea to introduce any more...

What type of starfish are you getting?
  20. blutang

    Blue linkia

I sincerely hope that your luck is better than most and I really hope that you get a good one. I would suggest to do the drip method for acclimation since they are so sensative to salinity. Just put him in and use a turkey baster to put your tanks water in until the salinity goes up to what it...
