    Thanks Rob, OH YEAH it feels good! Like I said...... :jumping: :jumping: :jumping: !!! There are some cool tubes on this last batch that have feathers on them. What are they? Really tiny, but I'm sure they are alive.

    So after the 3rd trip to the store, I think I am done adding LR to the cube. I'm up to 28 lbs now. I have all sorts of areas to place corals, and my crabs and snails are in heaven!!!! Kinda wondering what this is going to do to the whole cycling process..... I figured better now than later...

    Ssweet is right on the money about the itinerary, especially Scripps. Sounds like a nice way to spend a few days. Did leave one thing out though, and this is my favorite thing to do here, kick off your shoes and take a nice long walk on the beach. Tons of great food too!

    Mine liked my 55 that I sold a couple years ago. It was the only tank she liked because it wasn't a monster like my others and it didn't take up much of HER space. I think she will come around to like the 24. It is only taking up MY space on MY desk. I'm just hoping once I get corals in it...

    PS, When my better half walked in to the bedroom last Saturday and saw the new tank, she about fainted. She said "Have you lost your mind????" She thought I was done with tanks 1 1/2 years ago when I sold the 300. Wishful thinking on her part!!!! All I have to say is, HEHEHEHEHEHEHE!!!!

    2- 36w pc and 2- led moonlights. I am really excited about adding corals, just don't know what yet. A buddy has offered to frag for me when I am ready, free is always cool. Your pics really encourage me. Thank you for posting them!!! :joy:

    couple more updates: I definitely have algea growing on the duckbill, and the ammonia has claimed a couple pods that are floating around the tank. no question here, just an update.

    ok, so I have nitrite building as well. ammonia is already starting to decline, and I have .25 ppm no2. once again, not to be a pitb, but can it happen this quickly? thanks!!!!

    You were right about the crabs. HOLY COW!!! They're all over it! If you ever want an accurate count of them in your tank, this is the way to go.
