Good answer! I appreciate it. The more I look, the more I see. Could be a Saturday project, maybe Sunday too. Hey, shouldn't you be at a bachelor party or something? When is the big day?

Step by step to kill Aiptasia

I have read the hitch hiker thread, and it says to use Joe's Juice. OK. How? Do I have to remove the rock from the water? Do I need a hypodermic needle? Could somebody please give a step by step as to what needs to happen here please? My tank is 3 1/2 weeks old and I'm starting to see alot...

OK guys, thank you! They seem to have settled down for now after their little killing spree. Sounds like it's only a matter of time though.

PFitz, After finding the hermit crab ID thread, they are definately Mexican Red Tip. Have you, or anybody else experienced over aggression with these?

    Got rid of the Dam-sels

Oh yeah, been there. Gone to the airport a few times for shipments, also travelled 150 miles for fish. As I think about it, there is really no bad way to get em!!! Just get em home alive !!!

    Got rid of the Dam-sels

Thanks!! I am one that isn't patient enough very often for the online buys. It's got to be a REALLY good deal. Gonna get my light online, and if there is a coral I couldn't find locally, I would do that. Just something about bringing home a bag of fish, ya know??

    Got rid of the Dam-sels

Man those guys are hard to catch. One practically swam into the net, the other I ended up taking out 3/4 of my rocks to catch. Traded them in for a couple clowns and a cleaner shrimp. While I had the tank apart, I rearranged the rocks. What do you think?

    24G JBJ Nano sucking air

Yesterday when I did my water change, I had the same problem. Turns out I was about a gallon low. When I got it completely topped off, the bubbles stopped immediately. Could be a fitting problem also.

    The Bright light!

Sweet man!!! How do those attach to the tank? I was thinking of having a piece of glass cut to fit in the rim of mine when I get the lights. Would that work with the way they attach? Prolly just 3/16" tempered, which would leave another 3/16" to attach fixtures. What do you think? Deal or...

    The Bright light!

Hey Jerth, Just found this thread. Looks great!!! I was also thinking about the "big wake" up with just MH. I am kicking around what to do. I have found combo MH/PC lights made by Coralife and also one by Finnex. Did you look into either of these?

    New Zoos

Well, I think my spiderweb maker is a Vermatid snail. Really cool, just watched him cast out his web and reel it in. BTW, anybody who hasn't used the search on this site, give it a try. Great tool.

    New Zoos

Thanks Jerth! I'm pretty excited about it. Pick up a few things while you're out here! Oh, wait, you don't want a divorce that fast... When I got home, the wife said, "What did I tell you about going to THAT PLACE!?!?" Then I pulled out the nice bottle of wine I got for us, and all was...

    New Zoos

Thanks Lisa! They had one more rock, I'm tempted to go back and get it also. A couple questions now. Why do some of the polyps have long stems, and some are right on the rock? Just curious. Also, there is something on the rock, very small, that is producing a long spider web looking strand...
