I have used the battery powered air bubble pump you can get at sports authority. It uses 2 D batterys and last running at night for about a week. :jumping:

I am like Hapshot my SFE is always looking out from the rocks but every 2 -3 days at 5:00 p.m.he comes fully out and thats when I feed him. He shares a tank with a panther grouper who eats every day but the SFE just watches.

psusocr1 Its funny that the bucket that is not in the sun is the one getting the algea. According to what i have read on this site you were to leave them in the water for 3-4 days and that changing it any sooner does not speed up the ph drop. CELACANTHr I have let the rocks with the algea bake...

I think its a shame they sell any porcupine puffers. When I first started with salt water the LFS was going to sell me one for my 37g. :hilarious I dive all the time in s. florida and let me tell you these things get BIG. I would not recomend one at all.

maeistero, Good tip on the under the bed bin and to buy extra to be sure. I will probably keep all life in tubs w/filters overnight. I have a few HOB filters hanging around ( no pun intended ) I will use, a some power heads with the corals. I might look into trading in the tang as I am not...
