    Nyc Fish Stores!

Rubble rock is 4.99 lb and reg. rock 7.99 lb. The reg. rock does have alot of hitch hikers like mushrooms, sponges, button polyps and even one had a brain. You also need to find the least inclined person there because they have a tendency to try to charge more if there is any type of coral. I...

    Airwaterice Ro/di Setup

You should have no problem, there is probably going to be a need for a tee of the incoming water to be split with the washer and your unit and the drain will be fine. I have the compact but hooked it up under the sink.

    Installing a R/O-DI unit

The back of the cabinet is it drywall, if so then plastic mollys will work or get butterfly mollies. What this does is allow the screws to actually catch on something stronger (plastic) and spread to add pressure to its surrounding. The butterflies have a bolt that ges thru them and at the end...

    Installing a R/O-DI unit

If you look at the pipes under the sink, do you see the cold water shutoff? Then there is the tubing going up to the cold water handle. So lets start from scratch, HD sells hard plastic?pvc tubing setup, length does not matter since you can bend it and cut it. Shut of the cold water supply...

    center brace vs mh

I have a 45 tall with center brace. its 36 long. I moved the mh from the center and put it on the left side. So my light loving corals are on the left and center, while the shrooms and others that need less are on the right. It looks totally awesome as sun penetrates the left as a direct...

    More RO Questions...SepctraPURE, MAXXIMA...Help!

I feel sometimes water issues get blown out of proportion. RODI is just that. When something states 99% removal, it is just that 99%. Their are no misleading labels, since membranes have to be certified. Microns matter as do the types of carbon blocks. The end result is still 99%.

SUN CORAL. Someone pleeeeze offer up some experience, testimony, and advice!!!

correct, whe you feed the tank, blow some past the coral, it senses the food and starts coming out. Do this for about a week but don't feedd it directly when you do that. After lights out feed it as you do. This will train them to come out when everyone else is being fed and then you feed...

    Canopy Questions?

Get plastic pipe just large enough for the screw to go through and use that as the spacer between the reflector and the canopy, cut to desired length, this allows you to raise or lower the overall height of the reflector.

Mounting Metal Halides to a cannopy

You still should use reflectors for 2 reasons: 1) a reflector acts a heat sink, the mh directs heat at 1 point, the entire length of the bulb and residual heat on both sides, the reflector spreads the heat over a increased area. 2) the reflector reflects light on the top and sides of the mh and...
