I am also new to the SW thing. And I was told by a VERY good "SW Tanker" if you will to not touch the sand let the clean up crew do all the work for ya that is why they are there......right.......

A buddy of mine has one and he did the same thing (he was acc properly too) it took him a few days to move around but is all over the tank now.

I have 2 sand stars in my tank (55g) with no problem with them.

I'm fairly new to this SW thing but I think adding more lr now would be better. If you have to wait a few more weeks then that is better then killing all your fish later. I have been told MILLIONS of times to be patient so that is what I pass on.

I feed mine zooplankton and he has no problem with that.
