    anemone problem

its a sand dwelling anemone.. Dig a lil hole in the sand, and 'plant' its foot. if you have enough lighting, it will stay, but if it starts to climb the rocks, you'll need to look for better lighting

    Help! Please! Eggs!!

Thanks bang guy step 1. Make sure your rotifers are going well before thinking too hard about pulling the eggs, If you dont have the food to feed the larva, they will die, and you will be discouraged. take the time to get the rotifers going well, study gestation and spawning frequencies. Slip a...

I do dont waste a lot of time and stop for a coffee break and let the eggs dry or anything, but I do expose them. I have even exposed the eggs when only half of...

    haddoni carpet anemone

definitely the easiest of the carpets, but IMO a BTA is much easier to care for. most people lump all of the carpet anemones together, but theuy all have very different needs. HAdoni is pretty easy to care for, but there are reports of eating fish. S.gigantea is not nearly as likely to eat your...

Considering breeding a pair of clowns

the only cultures necessary are the rotifers and they are easy. I use a commercial refriferated phytoplankton to feed the rotifers with. Its actually very simple to culture rotifers. i have raised a few thousand Onyx percs, a few hunred Ocellaris, a few fire clowns, a few orange skunks, a few...

how big would an anemone get before it splits?

on this site/forum BTAs and LTAs are often confused, so it could be splitting, if it is a BTA. If it is actually an LTA ( M.doreensis) then its highly doubtful that it is splitting.
