what kind of anemone is this?

iut is a BTA. the picture thingy.. Its not a matter of being a copy-cat. its moresoe that they feel threatened by the clown in the pic that they cant seem to attack, so they are seeking shelter. I have never had to try it, but from what I read, it does seem to work.

help me pick my first anemone.

BTA (AKA E. quadricolor). They are the easiest to care for. Small hunks of shrimp will be fine, but dont peel them. just rinse them really really well. many people will tell you that you need an established aquarium of at least 6 months. I wont go there. I will say that they need an established...

dont do anything except relieve the stress (dont move the rocks, add any fish ( Have you added any recently?) etc).. Go to eddies and get the best frozen food he has, because its loaded with selco and garlic. The ick will clear on its own in most cases if its not too bad. The more you mess with...

It would probably be easier to hatch the next batch in the 3 gallon. Leave this batch in the 10 with little water and hope for the best with this batch and better with the next.. If you want to move them, I guess I would do a water change in the 10 before moving them, and them scoop them up...
