    My new BTA

Thank you sir!, but its really nothing new. I removed my bio balls in 1994-5. At the same time I got a GOOD skimmer, lights and quit dumping in snake-oil additives, ... thats when the hobby became easy and everything lived/thrived

    My new BTA

Did you get an actuall wet/dry, or one which has been converted into a sump? Wet drys are designed to produce nitrates which arent really all that good for anemones. Wet/dry is a superior form of filtration for fish only tanks because they are superior at converting the ammonia to a harmless (to...

    splitting anem.

Its hard to tell from the pic, but I would guess that it is some sponge on the rocks and not part of the anemone.

    Another feeding Anenome thread!!

I would continue to feed the fish with a high quality frozen food, and when you do, feed in the area over the anemones and feed heavily enough that a few tiny morsels will make it past the fish into the anemones (dont overfeed). Dont worry about direct feeding of the anemone, but do make sure...

    BTA on the move

Me.. I would probably give it a day or two to see what happens, and then probably move the euphyllia since moving the bTA may result in the BTA coming right back.

    BTA on the move

I wouldnt worry about the anemone stinging the frogspawn but the other way around. IME, most euphyllia will win most wars against most anemones. The pic you posted looks lik ethe frogspawn may already be stinging the anemone

    Clown Ready To Lay Eggs!!

The point I was trying to make is to get the rotifer cultures going ASAP otherwise you wont have much success. Did you order live rotifers so you could start a culture, or did you order rotifeast? Dont use a filter at all until 20ish days. good luck

    BT Anemone or Bulb Anemone

I am not certain that it is either. Especially with it being so bleached (seems to be a common thing with SWF shipped anemones) makes ID very difficult. Also its hard to ID from just a photo of the oral disc. A shot of the underside of the oral disc might help.

    Baby clowns!

Kind of looks like mysid shrimp to me. Do they move pretty fast and sort of like a swarm? I often have people say "Hey , you have baby clowns in this tank too!"", but they are actually seeing mysids. I guess you would know by know though, because the clowns should have gone through...

    anemones

They only move until they find their sweet spot. Sometimes they never find it if the tank is not suitable for them. If the tank is suitable, they will find their spot and stay put. A wondering anemone is an unhappy anemone.
