    my clown is a brat...

As a clownfish breeder that has put thousands of tank raised fish with anemones to see them host quickly, I say poppycock to the people that say they are less likely to host. I have heard that the pic method works well. The reason it works is not because they are playing copy-cat, but more-so...

    Feeding my new clowns

Be careful when making your own food. Most seafood even the freshest/most natural often comes packed with tripolyphosphate. While not bad for human consumption, it will definitely fuel algae growth. Also be sure to get the whole animal.. The whole shrimp with head and eyeballs. Not just the...

    Resubmission?

My oldest pair is well over 15 and still laying down viable spawns about every 2 weeks. I know that the shed in Chicago has/had a maroon that is over 35. 35 is a pretty long time. Yes, not as long as the average human life but still long enough.

    Clown Compatability

Enough to say that its not recommended. Especially in smaller tanks, and ESPECIALLY with the 2 species that you are thinking of. Fire clowns are the spawns of satin IME. Probably not as bad when they arent pared, but I gave away a good breeding pair because they were the most evil things I have...

    Resubmission?

Clowns only live a few years? Clowns are very territorial. Yes, their territory is usually very small, depending on the species (which species do you have?). Their territory could easily take up a 14 cube. Here territory has been invaded, so she needs to show who is boss again even though she...

    New sebae

Yeah, I am aware of what bleaching and expelling zooxanthellea and aware of calfo's take on anemones. if you look close at the pic, you can see brownish/tan. Yes, it could be bleached a little. Its never easy to tell from pictures, but if it were "super bleached", it would be more translucent.

    New Carpet

Cool. I used to have a chrystoperus that would dive its whole body in the mouth of the hadoni, disappear, and turn around in the mouth but I never seen it gape. When I see an anemone that has a mouth that gaped, its usually an anemone that isnt doing well and on its way out. Good luck
