Have you tried testing your ro water? Maybe filters in them need to be changed. How often are you feeding and what are you feeding? What is your lighting and how old are your bulbs? If your ro water is negative for phos, then test after you have added in your salt.

Mine did the same thing! I just ordered new ones last night because of it. My kits were 2 years old, I figured they had expired! Maybe this is how they are?? Hopefully someone else with this test kit will comment. I had multiple tests that stayed clear and did not match any colors on the cards.

He may still be adjusting to your tank. Give him a few days, and he will likely settle in. If he is grazing on the rocks and eating brine, then that is a good sign. You could always try soaking the food in garlic to help entice him to eat.
