no not carbon there is this other stuff that is made for amonia to help lower the levels its an off white color

for your breed of snail probly mine has a clear sack and you can wach there shells get bigger every day wach it carefully and if they form into snails then you have found your problem

they might be breeding thats what the snails in my fw tank do quite often i had like 10 at first and now i have to have at least 50 look for little sacks of eggs along your glass towards the bottom or in your rock stucture

so after the first month (cycle) should i get like a yellow tang and some snails to take care of the algie or can i put fish in after the first cycle and what about corals???

cant you just get some stuff that you can put in your filters that will help get rid of the ammonia or is there some kind of sponge or clam or something that can do the trick
