Soft corals and lighting. - Cyano problem.

Okay, in order to get rid of my red slime algae/cyano bacteria annoyance I need to keep my lights off as much as possible. I have a xenia colony and a pearl bubble coral. How much light would these need a day? I want to do a "blackout" for at least two or three days. I only want the lights to be...

    Zoos have brown threads!?

The strings that were hanging out were at least 6 inches long, I dont know where they went now though, all I can see are like one inch strings. If it happends again Ill get a picture of it. That's a lot of waste for a zoo polyp dont you think?

    Zoos have brown threads!?

What is going on with these zoos? Two polyps have these brown threads coming out of them. They are being pulled in and out very slowly, Is this normal for zoos? Ill post a picture if I must.

Encrusting Gorgonian - Would you happen to have some? Can I get a piece!?

Here is what it looks like, very fury looking. I can't find this online. The only place I could get it would be two hours away. Does anyone have some that they can break off and ship to me? Ill pay for it of course.

I got my Xenia Colony today - Questions....

I ordered from SWF.com - a Xenia Colony: This is what it looks like in my tank, (acclimated for 3 hours) What's wrong with it? It looks very weak.. It isn't orange/brown like it is in SWF's picture. It is a blue/white... This is exactly how it looked in the bag when I received it today.
