I use the HANNA Calc and Alk test kits. Love them. They stay really accurate over several testings too. I have the Red sea kit to test my mag, I like it.

OK vague question, MH lighting comes in varying colors and wattage's. What kind of MH watt, bulb style, and color are you trying to achieve? I have gone with Ushio, Phoenix, Radium, ect. All time favorite is Phoenix bulbs, the are dbl ended HQI bulbs that are 150W.

Fish go through a lot in the ocean, the currents are very swift. I really don't suspect then added currant is a sole contributor. I had a 55g fish tank where I had 1-1050 1-750 and 2-550 korallias and it wasn't enough currant for my liking, so 2 1050's aren't much for a 75g. If you suspect that...
