So I would like to try something that I can do in my DT. Any advice, experiances, or anything with...

    featherdusters w/flamehawk & Humu ..

I'm not sure about the feather duster. but they will most likely pick on the shrimp. I have a hawkfish and it killed 2 shrimp. triggers are probably even worse with inverts.

    Tangs and algae strips

I've read that you should offer tangs the strips 2 or 3 times weekly. Is it possible to overfeed them the algae strips? I usually give them a strip at least once a day since there isn't a whole lot of algae on my live rock..is that okay?

    Fish and aging

I was just on a website that was telling about fish and one of the things they said was the life expectancy in captivity. Most of the fish besides a few different types were only 2-4 years. Is that anyway to tell how old fish are or if you have an old fish? Thanks!

do you always let your cubes defrost b4 you put them in? I usually just hold the cube in the water and move it around inbetween my fingers for it to fall apart or else it'll float to the back of the tank behind the skimmer intake so no one can get any. should i defrost b4 putting in tank?
