    they thrive in ammonia levels that are high. that is a supplement to them to keep them healthy. The uncertainty of levels of ph, calcium,alk, etc will make them not do well. In a cycling tank the most likly will die even though they appreciate the high ammoinia. travis a stable tank is a must...

    who makes the best protien skimmers?

    i have a new aqua c remora and after 2 days it has produced a surprising amount of bad stuff from my ver low stocked tank. Very good skimmer...best IMHO for any skimmer under 300$. worked in 24 hours but will not be fully opperational until a couple days. A++ for aqua c remora and it is on my 55...

    What kind of starfish?

    was it in your 24 nano cube? there could be huge problems even had water quality not killed him. Please go the path of brittle stars if you want a starfish because they are good scavngers and can be hand fed. travis
