do you put the gas can above your fish tank??

I was wondering what type of set up people use to drip the kalkwasser/lime water? A friend uses a IV bag and has offered to give me one. Is this a good way to do it? :help:

Set up a fan to flow across the top of the tank... Suprisingly even a small fan works wonders.

well my maroon better get his act together he tries to eat the krill himself! where can i get a feeding stick? right now iv been trying with my hand and or a turkey baster

do you just break off a piece of frozen krill and give it to him frozen? or do you thaw it out?

I got a RBTA for my birthday from my wife, Its almost 8 inches across. I got it saturday and have tried feeding it raw krill every day and it doesnt seem interested.... Am i doing something wrong? What should i be feeding it?

It attempted to grab it but i guess it let it go.... the stomch opened up REAL wide though... Then the clown grabbed the krill and i thought it was gonna feed it, but the clown couldnt find the whole.. or he was just trying to eat it himself lol

From what i have read (dont know from experiance) is that the other fish in your tank will end up eating them unless they are netted and put into a species only tank

na i dont think it was the clown he swam off for a minute when i first put my hand down there.... great now its crawling farther back under... Im just worried cause months ago i had a pink tip craw back there and then it died! I hope RBTA's are hardier.

Should i try feeding it a raw crill? Ill take pics later alot of back glare on it now. [hr] never mind that cant reach down and turn my hand up back wards to feed it.... + i think he stung me!! feels like a paper cut on my finger

No the anenome is actually a pretty desent size..... It looks like its planted its foot on the under side of the rock... its fully open upside down, with the clown swimming in it... its getting almost no light at all...... i just dont want it to die because its not getting light.

He is now completely upside down (like a bat).... There is no light in the cave, hope he comes back out

The one i just got is moving on the the rock i placed him... His is now off the top flat part of the rock and is now on the side of the rock and working his way down... There is a cave under the rock he is on so he is crawling into a cave basically, and is now almost upside down but still...

Thats pretty much what i did, it grabed hold in just a few seconds and is opening nicely... Only its kinda tilting towards the back of tank instead of towards the display side... his foot is slowly stretching out, hopefully he tilts himself right

I got a RBTA in the mail today (shipped fed ex) is it ok to just grab it with my hands when i move it into the tank? Or is it going to sting the heck out of me?

Branching or the exoskelton one? Which one spreads?

I wouldnt trust my PC's sitting on top of the tank with out some kind of lid... Yes as of right no i have a glass cover.. The back of the tank is open about 2 inches though. I have just recently added to fans blowing into that opening to keep temp down... Maybe they will help with gas exchange...
