can u do this.. i just went to the lfs, and they said you don't need strong lighting and it will just loose color.. is this safe, any of you guys do this? they had one in a 7 gallon w/ a clown.
i have about 20+ nitrate in my 70 gallon... everything else is perfect but i know the problem is not enough live rock which i will be adding soon... but for now can i use the nitrate controller? any negative effects using this stuff?
i have never had problems w/ inverts for 3 yrs (snails, crabs, hermits)
i never acclimated any, and add whenever, the only ones that die are when they fight or puffer eats them.......
I read different things everywhere... do i need special lighting? and should i "feed" them anything such as trace elements or? and how often?
thank you
i would do it, thats a big tank, how much dam room do they need? most of you guys have tanks filled w/ reefs and no room for the guys even to swim, lol
theres got to be people w/ this done
i've been all over the island also, pets warehouse def has the healthiest and best selection w/ great prices!!! the one in ronkonkoma sux and so do all the others.. the fish they get are all dull colored and ugly!!!!!
i think u'll just have to see... every fish is diff, mine can;t get to the blue hermits, and he leaves the emrald alone.... any snail i put in he eats, he ate 12 turbos... the black snails are good though.. they just stay under the sand and do their thing....
mine died too, after like 4 days, played dead, stopped eating, weird...
all levels are perfect, its a 70 gallon, and only a small puffer and clown in there
