I'm having the same problem! Mine aren't that bad yet, but I don't want them getting that out of control

I noticed I now have a "colony" of these short brown stems with feathery ends all over a piece of my live rock. They keep multiplying. They retract when the fish swim over them. What do I need to do about this?

ok - tang police .. please be kind I just got a Naso (only 3-4"). I'd really like to add a Purple (ones I saw are only 3-5"). Suggestions on how long to wait to add a Purple? Also I know aggression will be an issue and want to do my best to keep it to a minimum while they establish an "order."

I happened to venture into a LFS that I have heard about here in So FL. The place is much larger than what I'm used to .. but thought I'd share this "Bumblebee" grouper that I saw for sale. Found him pretty interesting

I do water changes every 3 weeks and test the water often. I'm going to try another test kit and try to get a magnesium test, as well. I'll also try the mason jar test for the CO2. Thanks!

having a little bit of an issue with Calcium and kh. My calcium is now testing well over 500 and before it was a steady 400. The dkh on the kh test is coming out at 15. The pH was also holding steady at 8.2 before and now is at 7.7 and 8.0. I had a huge phosphate problem and fixed that...
