So far the sand is really really clean, all brown cyano is gone. Tomorrow the times get hooked back up for...

My YT did not eat for days and he finally started eating the seaweed selects. Now he can't stop! I would also ALWAYS use a vitamin or Zoecon on the food. It will help you tang. It helped my tang with HELLE and I would also check for stray voltage (something to do down the road). I use liquid...

*Yup, need help with cyanobacteria (red slime)

It is one the left and somewhat in the middle. I will try to move the powerheads to move somemore "water" over there. If I also do the light deal will kill any coraline or LR algae in this short interval? How about just running the actinic only?

    aquamedic-turbofloter HELP!

I have the multi which his the same thing: Way are you feeding the skimmer with the maxijet and not the waverunner? It is either too large a pump or it is not getting any air into the pump for skimmer. I know my multi is very touchy with some things (carbon and sometimes new 50 micro pads make...

what pumps do I need for a 72 reef tank?

it depends. I have a wet/dry and use a Quiet one 3000 in the sump. also have 2 maxi-jet 1200 plus a 600 in the tank for movement. AS noted on this board you need a min of 10x water movement. So in your 72 you need at least 720 gph.

The problem I have is that if I point the PH toward the sand, it moves the sand to much. I have the southdown sand... I have 2 MJ1200 and a MJ 600 and my main pump.
