Hello all, I am dripping kalk with very good results. Cal is 420 but my alk is about 8.3 dkh and Mag is 1350. Why would my Alk still be low? Do I always need to supplement more alk when dosing Kalk?

Ok so then I guess I need a UV glass. How should I incorporate this into my tank? Should I lay it on top of the tank? Should I mount it somehow below the bulbs? please give me some ideas.... Pictures would be great if anyone has any.

I have XM double ended bulbs. Is the HQI? What is HQI?

You know I have heard similar but I have also hear otherwise. The place where I got the bulbs from even say that they are only = to a little more. Not as much as everyone thinks. Does anyone else have information on this?
