Well im am getting some of my LR tom just not all of it so that will start the cycle for me...and i was wondering how i acclimate it? Also will any corals already be on the live rock when i buy..like will it grow off of it,and when i put the rock in there do i need to run my lights? Thanks

I just set up my 55 gallon tank and i have all my sand and my RO water, and my salt is mixed....i was wondering during the cycle do i do water changes...or add more water when it evaporates?

I was wondering the proper way to add LR in your tank....i have a new 55 gallon tank and i i am putting the RO water in there tom and i heard you can put it in ur water 24 hours after you mixed the salt and the temp is right...but do you just put the LR in there or what do you do Thanks

yes this is a brand new tank so that will be fine...thanks...and i also have another question........is it alright to put in like 30 to 40 pounds of base rock thats not live or is that bad and then just put like another 40 pounds of LR on top of it..to save money or what??

I am getting all of my RO water tom. and i already have enough salt so i was wondering if you can just dump the salt into the fish tank with a powerhead in my tank to circulate the water...or do i do it a different way

I was wondering if i could use distilled water rather than RO water because the my wal-mart you have to buyy the jugs each for like 1.30 and then the RO water is 33 cents a gallon....so i was thinking i could just but distilled water and then start using RO water for top offs any suggestions?

I was wondering what the problem was with tap water bc i went to wal-mart and RO water was 33 cents a gallon plus $1.30 for just the jug and i have a 55 gallon tank and that would be a lot of money.....so please tell me why tap water is bad to put in your tank? Thanks Rutz

The one i was going to get says this: Unit has German Polished Aluminum Spider Reflector inside to increase reflectivity 300% and also i could take out 2 of the moon light and put 2 more 65 watt bulbs in there how about that bc i have a budget and MH is expensive

i found a fixture that hold 8 bulbs in it and it come with 4 65 watt bulbs so that would be 260 watts and it comes with 4 moon lights would that be ok

i dont know yet but what would be the least amount of watts i would need for an anenome or coral??

i just bought the sand like 30 minutes ago so i should be ok

no no its covered but i didnt know if i had to wait to add salt until i had LR in there also but my sand is def covered
