ok i need suggestions. I have decided to get rid of my can filter setup and go with a sump setup with an overflow since my tank is already running. my question is can i rid my system of the can filter altogether and setup my wet dry system without worrying about the bacteria that was build up...

can u post pics of your wet/dry setup like your sump and your oerflow box? did you set it up with no holes drilled in tank and is your sump loud?

i dont have corals. i wanna keep my light fixture which house 4 bulbs i believe 21 inches is how long they are. is 65 watts the strongets i can go for that size or can i go 96 watts. i want the best light bulbs for the fixture i have, money is no object.

i have a 60 gal FOWLR set up and im using 4 - 55 watt bulbs. Should i go more wattage for better lighting? if so how much wattage? This is my setup

my canister has issues with spitting out air bubbles form the return nozzle, ive tried everything to fix the bubble problem. -if i went to a sump will the return nozzle from the sump ever shoot out small to large amounts of airbubbles?

ok i have a porky puffer and a bursa trigger in my 75 gal both are about 4 inches. any chance i can get a non agressive fish with these two, maybe a clown fish or something small and fast that will hide in the rocks?

donmgcon i removed the carbon pouch and u actually might be right... I think all along it was the carbon pouch causing the air bubbles.. i wonder why that is? ill continue to keep an eye on it though because i think its too good to be true :) my tank is looking so much clearer without the air...

when you say skimmer box you mean the prefilter box that is used with the remora skimmer and your saying its in your sump attached to your skimmer?

also are sumps noisey, my tank is in my room practically next to my bed. it will be under my tank in the cabinet.
