It seems, from explanations of what the di filter does, that it would be the only thing needed to purify tap water........would this be just as good as a ro filter...................................

OK...........i have been lookin around at different types of liverock............the fiji stuff is what i wanted to get.....but the peices shown are kinda brownish and has dull earthy stuff on it.......will the colors brighten up as they mature?

I dont know.........haven't seen it in action.........have filled the filter w/ water though..............so i saw it then......................all it did was bubble...........i thought it would form a funnel...............i really dont see how it could work right........is it not adjusted right?
