I used Seachem Matrix Carbon last time. It claims it will last for several months but I have a hard time believing that. Has anyone else used it? Can you really leave it in for "several months"?

My 6 line is a bully too! I thought he was going to kill my orchid dottyback but eventually he left him alone. The dottyback to this day hides in the rock and only darts out to nab some food.

Thanks haakon, I think I have found a solution for my noisey waterfall. I ordered a durso standpipe. I should recieve it tomorrow and install it Sunday. I hope its atleast better than what I have now!
