    thanks for clearing that up for me!! can a sand bed be too deep? i'm already at 4" will adding more sand be ok? so, to get this straight, i should buy some live sand from here and just add it to what i've already got? should i mix it in or just leave it on top of the sand i already have?

    o.k., it's a 55 with about 55lbs. LR soon to be repaced Seaclone 100 skimmer and Emperor 400(like to get rid of that too)

    Zooper, you're using the Aqua C remora PRO on a 55? how's that workin for ya? I wasn't sure whether to go with the remora or the remora pro for my 55. is that a HOB skimmer?

    cool lookin tank!! unless you've already got it, i wouldn't go with the seaclone 100 speaking from experience, it sucks, not literally, thats the problem!! i very rarely get any action out of it!! i would go with something different

    my tank is 55 gal. with 55lbs LR(plan on about 30 to 40 more lbs.) and about a 3.5" DSB. anyway, I plan on getting a few maxi-jets for water circulation in the tank, my question is how many, what size, and where at in the tank to place them? :notsure:

    on this site it says 1 astrea snail for every 2 gallons. so here's what i'm thinkin. tell me anything different you guys (and girls) would do. 20-25 astrea snails 20 nass. snails 20-30 scarlet hermits maybe a couple fighting conch?????????????????????????? how's that sound?
