my nitrates are running at 20 to 50 did lots of water changes to. No fish in tank but citters, l100 pounds of live rock and 50 pounds of live sand . Tank beem running for 3 monts. have a all-glass megaflow sump and etss skimmers. Btw this is a 90 gal.

Say I have a 90 gal SW with overflow box now I put a snorkel in with 1 in pvc pipe, now what I am getting is a lot of nitrate build up in the overflow box like 30 ppm, But tank is only 10 and sump is 10 anyone else having this problem. Wife doesn't like noise if If I take pipe out.thx

The tank is 3 months old ,right now there is nothing in the ecosystem had caulerpa in the sump but die. I feed every three day 10 pelllets and the only thing i have a few snails and craps and star fish. Want to get nitrate to 0 if possible. thx

I have an ecosystem on my 90 gal tank with miracle mud been running for 4 months now. Growing caulerpa in the sump. Have no trouble at all no skimming . no nitrate nitrite and phsphate.
