i have just tufa rock in my tank but i have a bunch of snails and hermits with coraline algae on thier shells and im starting to see some real faint but bright green spots appearing on my rock could this be coraline gorwing or is it most likely some kinda nussance algae ? the tank is about 3 1/2...

i use a 2 1/2 gallon gas tank for my top off but i use water jugs from walmart for top offs

instead of buying gas cans just buy the water jugs in the camping section at walmart or somewheres like that. when i set up my tank i bought 5 6gal and one 7gal that has a nozzel at the end so its easier to poor our alittle ro water when i need it

you just kinda have to adjust it to howm uch your fish will eat right now im feeding formula1 i think it is and only use like 1/8 of a cube but all i have is two small false percs

i found a site on electronic ballast the other day and it said 800ma was ho and 1500ma was vho wish i could find it again

if you need a transformer you can get a little cheap one from walmart or radioshack i had to get one to wire my diy water top off

i watch one of my turbo snails climb off one rock onto the back of a hermit and clean the hemits shell then go on its way the hermit didnt look to happy he was hanging on to the rock for his life
