    that is a good idea. only if i had a sump. i will do that when i set up my 65 with a sump next month. i will try the baster method next time i get a creature just to see if i like it better. i have had great luck with the drip acclimation but i am always up for new things to try.

    i dont know why is was so low. i have a 10g. hang on filter. powerhead creating flow. 14lbs live sand, 10 lbs of live rock. its been set up for about 8 weeks now. so it's still new.

    yeah i use kent buffer. it handles ph and ak. i just forgot to use it ( it was in the bottom of my salt mixing bucket that i havnt used in a long time)

    ok so i just retested my tank. (dont test at night. hehehe) my ph was between 7.8 and 8.0. so i just added some buffer so we'll see what happens. hopefully that was the case and the problems will be handled.

    well i found out they need to be fed alot. as well as they like live things in the sand. i cant keep them with shrimp. The guy at my lfs ( who i have been going to for a while and trust) said he would be fine. I feed him frozen as well as copepds (that are in the tank)

    i did some reading after i posted the snail bit. pretty sure they are baby nerite snails. they look like sesame seeds in the planktonic larval stage.
