You can do it like mine... Above the tank. Very easy plumbing. Just a few pieces of 3/4 inch PVC and elbows and stuff. Let me know if you want me to send you a diagram of how I did it.

Looks like Macro algae to me. Thats good for lowering Nitrates. If it is growing on its own in your tanked you are lucky. But dont let it take over either.

It is like a clear slime and it looks like webs. i have not did a water change since about 2 weeks ago ll my levels except for phospate are good.
