On the glass of my 72, I have tiny little white curlyQ(bugs?) on the glass. They do not come off the glass easily. They are no bigger than a 1/16 of an inch. I hope this is enough info.
Thanks

46.5" bulbs. If I had the money I would love to go out and buy more equipment. However I do not, so I am just trying to work with what Ive got. I think there would be some advantages to running NO lights.
I am currently running an IceCap 430 ballast with 1 Actinic and one 50/50 white. I am thinking of adding one more Actinic(the 430 ballast will sustain the 3rd bulb). I was curious what opionions you had on adding two NO florecents and what types to use. Thanks for the input.

I have about the same setup and I think I have the RIO 1400. I think its about 375 gph. The overflow box will not overflow because it only can get as much water as the pump puts out.
I am looking into MH and I dont want to ripped off. As a DIY enthusiest I am wondering what MH ballast is the best. I am thinking of getting two 250w single or double ended bulbs.
Thank you

How will (or does) the "water height differential" affect the gph?
