I went ahead and put my clam on rock under lights, have T5 set up, and he seems very happy. I have brown algae on sand and i keep stiring it up but comes back, what is it and why are my cleaner crews missing it? Kinda like my maid, never gets all the dirt.

you say clam likes on rock not sand, mine opens completely when on sand and on rock will open only part way, could you be wrong????

thanks, i will move him right away, he was in the sand at the store, seems to like it, but i will put him on rocks.

I just bought a blue clam today, really neat, will try to take picture.

It's a water coral, is that the same, and is looking real happy today will post more photos.

i have been trying to post pics but keep getting pics to big. Tried changing to right size but no luck, don't suggest paint, cant seem to make that work...Any suggestions????

I caught my wrasse, took me 2 hours but did what u suggested, got a platic large coke bottle, cleaned it really well, took all paper off and glue, cut out the top and put brine in bottom and submerged. He kept going in but got out before i could get bottle out so i had a net in tank from 2 days...

I got him, trapped the bugger and back to the store with him, much happier tank...

Solved my mean fish problem, caught the buger...I used the technique by someone here on the site, put a plastic leader bottle, cleaned paper removed cut out top and put food in bottom and submerged. I had to sit there for 2 hours with a net i had left in tank for 2 days until he got use to it...
