I saw a little yellow worm looking thing on the glass, thought it was a snail out of his shell, then this am it was in the sand and got on the back of a helmet crab, what is it? Looks like a worm and is yellow.

I tried paint but i am such a dummy, it changes to 500 x 500 but i only get the top part of the photos. My corals have opened and they are really pretty, would like to show but can't figure this sizing out.

Wish i had never seen this bugger, eating all the hermit crabs, i find legs, know it's not the clowns or damsil. Has to be the wrasse...Trying to catch him but he is too fast. Should I get rid of him or just keep adding snails and crabs???

Got my corals today, added to tank and leaving lights off for 3 hrs, is that right? Also, I notice my little scooter blenny just loves the coral, all over it eating something. Is that normal and when do these guys open??? They aren't very pretty closed, kind of brownish looking, is that...

Just noticed my scooter bleeny is really interested in this coral, he is all over it and seems to be eating something???? Is this usual, as you can see I am really new at this too!

I just received coral today from this site, first ones, got a clove polyp, gren star poly and brown zoos. I have acclimated and put in tank, leaving light out for 3 hours, when do these guys open and they are all a brownish ugly color, is that natural until they get settled and open???

I use the magnet on the front and side glass, snails take care of the back, I have a 40gal and about 20 snails and 15 hermit crabs, 3 em crabs and they work hard.

tank is a 40 gal and i have 4- 65w satalite lite with lunar light. Got from this site, very expensive and suppose to be the best. have 2 clowns, 2 black and white damsels, 1 scooter, 1 wrassa, lots of snails and clams plus 3 emerald clams and a brittle star

good for you, i have two perc clowns and they are never away from each other. I noticed one keeps rooting in the sand under my LR could he be nesting???The other just seems to watch. Anyone know???? :jumping: :jumping:

i am new to hobby also, i had same problem and just took out about 5 gal per day and added fresh water until salt was at 1.025. I don't know if this is right but it worked for me, now my salt is where it should be and i check every day. Hoped that helped but listen to the experts, i am new also.
