I was thinking that's what they might be but was hoping for something more fun and exciting! I haven't noticed them anywhere else in the tank, should I do anything special if I see more that aren't as easy to remove?

When I got a hermit crab about a month ago, the shell looked fuzzy. I thought it was just algae but he has now switched to a different shell and I got a better look. I took it out of my tank for now. The shell is about the size of a pea. Thanks in advance!

My CUC arrived in excellent condition (with the exception of 1 DOA shrimp), they are all acclimated and in my tank I'm excited to turn the lights off tonight and see if my brittle star comes out to play! I'm loving all the activity in my tank!! LOVE IT!

I have an order of snails, shrimp and others on it's way and was wondering the same thing. I bought a couple snails and an urchin from my LFS and acclimated them separately since they came from different tanks. Maybe I am over thinking it, but wouldn't each bag have different tank water in it...

I didn't have very good luck with paint so I use auto window tint. I get a roll of the darkest limo tint and it looks great!

Thanks! they only seem to be on one small rock so I'm just going to take it out. Does bubble algae have a "stem"? I'm trying to get better pictures. They are a purple/maroon color and some have a stem.
