ok got some work done over the weekend. I'm planning on filling it up tonight to see if there are any leaks that I missed. I have like 75% of my CAD done. I have my sites set on getting live sand from a local. Now how much LS do I need? SWF has a sand bed calculator and it says I need...

yeah i totally drained all the water, removed the old silicon, cleaned and reapplied on the inside. I was looking at the DAP stuff and they come in such small tubes! It would take me about 5 of those tubes to do my whole tank. Instead I found this 100% silicon with no anti bacterial stuff made...

doh! off to get some DAP aquarium silicon. Hopefully lowes or osh has it!

King...I've totally been checking out your build and its given me a bunch of ideas. I totally agree with having that side bulkhead as a return. Do a 1.5" on the other side on the back for overflow. So far I haven't been able to touch the tank much, but at work I've been modeling up the tank...

ah man that thing was cake. We had 4 people move it from waist high to a bed of a truck probably 3 feet away and unloaded it in my garage about 3 feet away from the truck. We could have easily done it with two people. Thanks for the help guys. Now I have to figure out what to do with that...
