I know from experience with SWF.com that you cannot get monday delivery. They only ship to arrive from tuesday to friday. Unless you have your order in by wednesday mid day you will not get your order until tuesday.

I have a custom oak stand for my 125 and i know for a fact it is some pretty big dollars for oak. I did buy my tank and stand second hand cause the satnd and overhead cover/canopy unit alone new was 950 bucks. So unless you have very deep pockets...choose a diff woood.

Kipass4130 (kip) did a great post on this already. he showed a picture of his RO/DI unit (typhoon 3 i think). I used his picture to set mine up. Essentially he got a Y hose adapter and ran one line to his washing machine and the other to his ro unit. the waste line just gets put into the washer...

I just got one recently from my lfs whom i might add has some amazing corals and reef tanks. he has had this one now for about 14 months he claims. hope it will do ok in my tank

Hey I got one of those also. Came in on some rock I bought from the lfs. Mine started out as a solid pinkish color but now seems to be the same as yours since it has grown a bit. cool. I wondered what that was. :)

I got a really nice unit from ---- for like 140 delivered. it has the tank, faucet for drinking, and is rated 85gpd and a 5 stage RO/DI unit. you can get one for like 100 bucks easy without tank and faucet...an AWESOME investment for sure.

do a search for the "stockman drainpipe" Kip did a good articles on it. I used that exact method as my overflow sounded like a contstant flushing toilet from h**l. Either way...check it out..i did it and it worked like a charm...can't hear the slightest thing now.

okay...some items i have aquired since starting.. at least 3-4 buckets. 1 - 25gallon (ish) garbage pail for ready made salt water. lots of tubing...for the drip method of acclimation. extra filters for your filtration system (depending on your type of course) if anything is going to go wrong in...

...also with the painting I would not recommend that at all since the salt will quickly make the paint crack and peel...then little bits of paint fragments will be in the water..not good I would think. Foil SHOULD work since it can easily withstand 4-500 degree ovens without any change in...

I have yet to face any vacation time since my inception into this hobby but how about this? If you go to the dollar store and puchase one of those little "pill" dosage containers for like a buck...the kind that has a little compartment for each day. Then put your food amount in each little day...

I have a berlin and it is rated up to 250gallons. I would not use it on something THAT big but on my 125 it has been doing a serious bang up job.

I have the same one and it rocks! easy to clean and easy to setup...took all of about 10 minutes for the foam to start....very highly recommended. :D
