On 2/11, while doing water level tests I originally saw that my Nitrite had spiked between 2 & 4. I did a 10 percent waterchange on the 12th and the morning of the 13th i checked and the nitrite was completely gone, acording to my test kit... later on the 13th i rechecekd my nitrite to be sure...

ah your right that is a 50g. but my dimensions are: 36.5 x 18.5 x 21. i checked the oceanic site to make sure they matched up

Sorry to bring this thread back alive but a little while ago i was checking to see if my nitrate went up yet like i thought it would, but it was still at 1 and not only this but my nitrite rose up to 2 again, and the ammonia is still at 0. What is going on?!?!?! somebody, anybody, please help!

this will be a fish only tank so no need to worry about corals, but when you say sensitive to water changes do you mean they are affected if you dont do frequent water changes or they dont like constant water changes. and yeah i have a maroon right now that i am debating ab out getting rid of...
