Could you help me ID this crab?

I've found him in a few different spots on the bottom rock of our rock wall. I haven't seen him out and about, never near any corals, but last night he had a shrimp antenna (I assume from a molt since I'm not missing any shrimp) hanging out of his hole. These were the best pics I could get...

What to put in a 12g Eclipse?

We've got an extra 12g Eclipse tank that we're talking about setting back up. Originally, we were going to do a pistol shrimp and a shrimp goby but now hubby is thinking about a group of sexy shrimp and a few corals. We don't have the best lighting in it so we'd probably just do some mushrooms...

Are any of these reef safe??...any wrasses reef safe?

Actually, 6-line wrasses are generally pretty hardy. I have one in my 90 and he has eaten since day one. He also eats pods and other little live rock dwelling creatures.

    Some pics from last night

I don't really take night time pics but last night, after we turned out the white lights but before turning off the actinic, everything was so active so I pulled out the camera. They're not the best quality since my camera is like 4 years old but I'm happy with them :) Yellow Watchman Goby...

What kind of snail is this??

I see a few of these in my tank at night. I've never noticed them near any corals but I wanted to double check and make sure they are ok.

    Is my xenia a goner???

We had that happen to one of our colonies. It was on a rock with another colony and only the one died. Now, the remaining colony has spread and is growing like crazy in our tank.

    Blonde naso feeding

My naso didn't really eat for a few days. It would pick at the rocks though. We ended up going to a lfs and getting some different plants/algae from their sumps and putting it on a veggie clip, along with some seaweed. She eventually learned to eat from the veggie clip. She won't touch green...

is there an alternative for the astraea snail

I wouldn't put that many hermits in the tank. I have 6 blue leg and 4 scarlet reef hermits in my 90 and it's more than enough. They switch shells a lot and a few of my blue legs are big enough that they knock things over. My clean up crew in my 90 is: 3 emerald crabs 6 blue leg 4 scarlet 30...

I need some ID help please

Anyone else have a different opinion? It is touching a q-tip sponge and it doesn't seem to be bothering the sponge so I don't want to kill it if it's harming anything.
