    Yellow tang wont eat...

They need vegetable matter in their diet. My tang won't touch green seaweed, it only eats purple. Sometimes you have to change it up a little bit to find what they like.

I need some ID help please

This has started growing on one of my mushroom roccks. It is hard to get a good pic since it's kind of on the back side of curved rock. Thanks for any help you're able to give me.

    Empty Shells at SWF.com?

I got the bag of shells from swf and I didn't have any problems with them. There were some bigger shells in there too. My blue legs were teeny tiny at the time and they've been changing shells like crazy.

    *****

I'm going to open myself up to flames but I work at a *****. I've been there for a year and a half and I love my job. I hear lots of horror stories about ***** and I can say, overall, my store is not like that. Most of the people that are in the aquatics area have tanks of their own. The three...

    Fresh Garlic vs Garlic Extreme

I use Garlic Guard a few times a week. My tang picks a little bit when I feed but if I add the garlic, it goes nuts for the food.

Here's my little mushroom area. It's arranged differently now and the green ones on the bottom rock are up higher and get HUGE. I'll have to try and get some more pics later.

Got free sixline wrasse, please help!

6-lines are such neat little fish. I've actually seen mine "clean" my yellow damsel. He eats every kind of food that gets put in our tank plus he is picking through the live rock non-stop. It's neat how he swims in and out of small little holes or through corals.

    Spare Shells

I got a pack of 50 empty shells on SWF for like $5. We boiled them and then scattered them around the tank, mostly in our tonga piles since that's where the hermits love to hangout. Our hermits change shells all of the time and luckily we haven't lost a crab or a turbo snail yet.

    Adding Sixline Wrasse

I love my 6-line. He's always swimming in and out of my live rock and he has a big fat belly from eating pods and whatever else he can find. He's never bothered my inverts (teeny tiny blue legs, cleaner shrimp, fire shrimp, starfish, porcelin crabs, etc.).

Who's running a successful reef with no sump?

We have a 90 that we've just started a few weeks ago. We're running to Emperor 400's and a CSS 125. One day we might get a sump but we have 2 little kids who are very curious and like to throw things in water. lol. Oh, and we have 140lbs. of live rock and 100lbs. of live sand.
