i never had one but i am pretty sure that you can really only have a mantis in hte tank right? i think they'll kill everything else...not sure though so don't mark my word on that...personally i think there are much cooler things you could do with a tank than have one mantis shrimp in it...but...

duh you have shrimp...i don't know how to get him to go to a different shrimp haha...but you won't be able to use copper or hypo in your dt...you'll have to set up a qt tank

all the clams in teh coolers are still live...just be careful with them...they may clean fo ra little..but then have a short tank life...and may end up decaying under your sandbed...doing the exact opposite of what you intended them to do....

you'll want to check your ammonia in a week or so see if you have a spike...if so then your cycle has started...maybe check sooner sometimes tanks cycle fast you never know...then your nitrites and nitrates will go up and once everything is back to zero then your good to go

you won't need to add a shrimp your live rock curing will cause your tank to cycle...tank looks good...

i think it is hit or miss...i think in most cases smaller angels are okay in reef tanks...but you may get one who nips corals...larger angels i think will eat your inverts so they are out...
