My clowns must have gone through a divorce. When I first got them, they were practiaclly inseperable. Now they sleep in different spots and swim on opposite sides of the tank. The only time they are together is when they gang up on my hand when it goes into the tank.

looks like your the proud owner of a new guinia pig tank. If any piece of a tank is cracked, I wouldnt use it at all. You could try to sell it on clist as there are always people looking for cracked tanks to fix.

Keep the sand in buckets ensuring that it doesnt solidify. Boil the rocks and this will get rid of anything on the rocks. Keep the rocks in boxes until they are needed again.

Falcor eats well, almost too well. He doesnt chase the angel away, but he does chase away the wrasse. The clowns eat whatever floats in front of them. I must say, watching the tank during feeding gives me clues as to how to catch fish. Sprinkle mysis next to the boat and wait with a net. LOL

It probably is an amano shrimp. But all the fish will eat these cherry shrimp? They were in a tank with other fish. They looked cool.

As far as battery backup power is concerned, I have never had an issue with APC products. They may cost more, but for all they do and their reliablility, its totally worth it.
