Hello, you do not have to have a refuge, It would be better if u did but again you dont have to. I would invest in another protein skimmer though.

Yes, they will spread and move around from their original rock. I think that is a good thing becuase you will have more on your liverock not just on the frags live rock.

I used to have a eclipse system and the hood comes with the lights and filteration system. I took mine off and replaced with with a 96 watt coralife lighting fixture. I sold that tank and brought a 10 gallon and that is what I have now. You can buy the aquapods and stuff that comes with good...
