i've always heard that they need atleast 4-5 inches of sand, but i could be wrong. I just don't know how a fish that gets over 2 inches cold be comfortable in a hole that wont even be 2 inches.

you should look at some other wrasses. they have a lot of small and very beautiful wrasses at many different online lfs.

that sounds like an awesome tank. I would suggest just going with the fish listed. the less bioload the better.

it seems like it would be okay, but i woud suggest getting rid of the yellow tang. They get to be to big and need a lot of swimming space. It you get rid of the tang there is no doubt in my mind that it would be okay. you could probably even get a couple more small-medium sized fish.

most saltwater fish can survive and thrive without feeding for many weeks. It is not worth it to trust someone that does not know anything about saltwater fish with an important job like feeding. It would be nice though if you could train someone to come and check on you tank once or twice while...
