IMO you need to put your PS2 on the big online auction site and sell it there and then take the funds and purchase a light from someone on this board.:(
Dacia, Just starting as I am also, here is the very first thing that I did. I went and bought the book- The New Marine Aquarium by Michael Paletta. It has answered just about all of the questions that I had. The ones it did not cover I got answered from the fine people on this forum. Good luck...
I want to thank each and everyone for there help in this matter. The final vote by the majority seem's to be Maxi-Jet 900's. So that is what it is going to be. Once again thank you and have a great holiday weekend.:D :D :D
Thomas,
I don't know where you keep coming up with all this info but YOU THE MAN!!!!!!. Looks like I will be running the 900's for now and see how things turn out. Yes, you are right, when you are on disability the budget is a great concern. :)
Ok, Maxi-jet it is. Now for the size of tank I will be running(75 or a 90) which size of Maxi's should I run(900's or 1200's) and how many for this application. Thanks a bunch everybody this has been a great help. Thank God for this forum.:D :D
As it stands as of now I have my choice of either a 75 or a 90gal tank. Would 2 maxi-jet 1200's work? These will be for circulation only. Also where do you find info. on Tunze products? Thanks guys for the help.:)
Which brand of powerheads are the best for saltwater. I know that there are several brands on the market today. What I would like to know is which ones hold up the best for this type of application. Any help would be greatly appreciated:D
A big thanks to everyone who posted to this thread. I will be using a dsb and plenty of lr. I am going to try bio-balls and see what happens. I look at it this way , I can allways remove them. Once again thank you.:D
