cool well i just hope they dont get out of hand by next weekend. Thats when my fish are going back into the main display tank. Its been a long 2.5 weeks.
yeah i feed mine frozen brine, spirulina flakes, and seaweed selects. I do the same....i use a coffe mug to scoop some tank water into then i drop the cube in. 5 minutes and i shake it up and then pour it in...... I do the same with the flakes.
i want to get one for my 2 pink skunk clowns.... I only have 4 lights that are 30 watts a piece. 2 white and 2 blue....would it be worth the trouble or no?
if he died then your cleanup crew got him already. I have to get my snails that fall on thier back within 10 minutes or they are history. Actually i just lost a snail to my hermits last night. Fell between the rocks and that was it.
i added my sand while water was in the tank. Put the whole bag of sand in the water. Use a box cutter to cut the bag in half, and then spread it evenly. Mine got a little cloudy but i could still see through it and it was perfectly clear within an hour.
Could anyone post a pic of phytoplankton? I have been searching but havent found a decent one yet. I have these littel white creatures that are all over now since i have moved all my fish into QT. But at the same time i have been putting live phytoplankton into the tank but i cant see...
i had a power outage not to long ago too. By the time i woke up the power was already back on by my problem was way worst than yours. In my cabinets under my tank i have my sump and i have an extension cords. Well my power went out...and my powerhead back drained and overflowed my sump which...
i have heard of people putting the sand in a stocking and putting the stocking in the sump for about a week and then adding it to the tank. I have also heard of people just placing the sand over the CC but eventually it will fall through and the cc will be back on top so that is kinda...
i feed mine Krill. Didnt even know they ate algae. Havent ever seen mine eat algae. he picks at the rocks and catches stray food.....and everyonce in awhile a hermit.
my blue damsel wasnt agressive at all. My yellow damsel was ok with the other fish unless they came to his cave. Anything that came by his cave he would attack. Even my CBS....but he only did that once.....and almost lost his life.
sounds like something to try. I just had to tear down my rock work to get 2 damsels out. And after thinking about it for about 5 minutes i decided they are not worth putting back into the main tank. But good luck on catching them and hoepfully you will not have to do what i have to do. I...
yeah i forgot to put why i lost mine. Mine was because of ick and i didnt have any idea on what i was doing. added all those fish in a 55gal without cycling the tank over a period of 3 weeks. Had about 20lbs of LR and argonite.
