I have a Huma Huma Trigger, can I drop a Chocloate Star fish into my tank? or will the trigger try to eat it?

I just got a HOB filter, what should i put/take out of it??? Carbon? Phosphate? what else? do i leave the carbon in w/out taking it out? and do i slowly add phospates in and out?

I just purchased 20 lbs of LR yesterday. But all the LR has lots of lil plants growing out of it. SHould i pull them all out, cut them, or just leave them there??:confused:

I saw him at the fish store but forgot to ask what type of fish it was. Its long and skinny, white, and has a yellow face. THis fish likes to dig the sand with his mouth, and then the sand comes out from his gills. The LFS says its good for sifting the sand. what is he called. :notsure:
